Refund Policy

Unfunded Campaigns

LaunchCrowdFund uses all-or-nothing funding. If a Campaign does not reach its funding goal by its deadline, no Backer is charged — pledges are automatically released and no refund is necessary because no payment was ever taken.

Funded Campaigns

Once a Campaign reaches its goal and Backers' cards are charged, funds are released to the Creator to deliver the Campaign. Backing a Campaign is not a pre-order or purchase with a guaranteed delivery date — it is supporting a project in progress. Refunds after a successful charge are at the discretion of the Creator, except where required by law.

When LaunchCrowdFund May Issue a Refund

LaunchCrowdFund may issue a refund directly, independent of the Creator, if: a Campaign is found to have violated our Terms of Service (e.g. fraud or material misrepresentation), a duplicate or erroneous charge occurred, or as required by applicable law.

Disputing a Charge

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us via our FAQ page before initiating a chargeback with your bank — chargebacks can result in account restrictions while the dispute is investigated.

Creator Responsibility

Creators are responsible for fulfilling the rewards and commitments described in their Campaign. LaunchCrowdFund is not a guarantor of delivery and is not a party to the agreement between a Creator and a Backer.
