This Privacy Policy explains what information LaunchCrowdFund collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and location. When you back a Campaign, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your payment details directly — LaunchCrowdFund never stores your full card number. When you create a Campaign, we collect the information you provide about the project, your bank details for payout (also handled by Stripe), and any content you upload.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to operate the Platform: to process pledges and payouts, to send transactional emails (pledge confirmations, campaign updates, account notices), to prevent fraud, and to improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing

We share information with Stripe (payment processing), with the Creator of a Campaign you back (your name and pledge, so they can fulfill rewards), and with service providers who help us operate the Platform (e.g. email delivery). We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

6. Your Choices

You can review and update your account information at any time from your profile settings, and can request deletion of your account. Some information may be retained where required by law (e.g. transaction records).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
