How It Works

For Creators

LaunchCrowdFund helps you turn an idea into a funded project in three steps.

  1. Tell your story. Set a funding goal, pick a duration, and describe what you're building and why it matters. Add images, a video, and reward tiers if you're running a reward-based campaign — or keep it simple with straight donations.
  2. Get reviewed and go live. Every campaign is checked before it goes live, so backers can trust what they're funding. Once approved, your project is live on LaunchCrowdFund and shareable anywhere.
  3. Collect funds and deliver. Backers pledge with a card on file. If your campaign hits its goal by the deadline, cards are charged and funds are sent straight to your connected bank account. If it doesn't, no one is charged a cent.

For Backers

Backing a project is how you help good ideas happen before they exist.

  1. Find a project you believe in. Browse by category, search by keyword, or check what's trending and ending soon.
  2. Pick a reward or just back it. Reward-based campaigns let you choose a tier — a thank-you, an early unit of the product, whatever the creator is offering. Or pledge any amount with no reward attached.
  3. Your card is only charged if the project succeeds. We place a hold on your payment method when you pledge. You're only actually charged if the campaign reaches its funding goal by its deadline — if it doesn't, you pay nothing.

Fees

LaunchCrowdFund charges a small platform fee on successfully funded campaigns only — there's no cost to create a campaign or to back one. Failed campaigns cost creators and backers nothing.

All-or-Nothing Funding

Every campaign on LaunchCrowdFund uses all-or-nothing funding: a project only receives funds if it reaches its goal by its deadline. This protects backers from paying for ideas that never get the support they need, and it pushes creators to set goals that genuinely reflect what they need to deliver.
